Amy

Amy has worked as a Physiotherapist in Private Practice for over a decade and has extensive experience in treating and rehabilitating clients with all types of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.

Amy’s approach to Physiotherapy is quite progressive, utilizing her clinical assessment and diagnostic ability to identify the symptomatic and causative elements of the client’s condition and then implementing a combination of manual therapy, Clinical Exercise + Pilates and strength and conditioning to optimize recovery, improve performance and overall wellness.

Amy believes strongly in the proven benefits of exercise in overall health and wellness and as such, implements an active approach to treatment.
Happy to treat all clients with an array of varying conditions, Amy does have a special interest in the management and treatment of sporting injuries, analysis and treatment of running injuries, shoulder injuries and injuries in the adolescent athlete.

Sahanna

Sahanna has always led an active lifestyle, having trained in Indian classical dancing from early childhood. As such, her innate understanding of movement and passion for helping others is what inspired her keen interest in physiotherapy.

Since graduating from LaTrobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice in 2014, Sahanna has worked primarily in private practice in both Melbourne and London. During this time, she has gained extensive experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal, spinal and sporting injuries. She has furthered her clinical expertise by undertaking training in both Clinical Pilates and Dry Needling.

Sahanna is a firm advocate of healthy living and working together with her clients to achieve their personal goals. Experiencing first-hand how pilates can be utilised to manage her own myriad of dancing related injuries, predominantly low back pain, Sahanna has both an in depth understanding and appreciation of the anatomy behind exercises and its role in rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Outside of the clinic Sahanna enjoys regular exercise and is an avid foodie and traveler.

Mitchell

Mitchell completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2015 and is nearing completion of the Masters of Sports Physiotherapy in 2020 to become a titled APA Titled Sport and Exercise Physiotherapist. 

Mitchell brings a wealth of experience in both sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with previous appointments with the Victorian Fury who compete in the Australian Netball League and head physiotherapist with Ormond Amateur Football Club (VAFA Division 1). Through these roles, Mitchell has developed a clinical interest in ACL injuries, tendinopathy and hip and groin pain, however is well equipped to deal all types of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.

Driven by optimal client outcomes, Mitchell continues to maintain a keen interest in evidence based practice and uses this to challenge and improve the management of his clients. Mitchell adopts a progressive approach to physiotherapy and uses the most current assessment techniques and rationale to provide clients with an accurate diagnosis and effective intervention. By comprehensively assessing each individual’s needs, Mitchell works collaborative with his clients developing a personalised program to achieve the desired outcome and return to the activities that they love.

Naiha

Naiha graduated from ACU with her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in sunny Brisbane before pursuing her career in private practice. Skilled at treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal and sporting conditions, she brings to Perform, Physio + Pilates a special interest in neck, shoulder, hip and back injuries, to name a few. She also has further training in Strength and Conditioning, Pilates, Running Injuries, Central Nervous System/Chronic pain, Dry Needling and Women’s health. Naiha prides herself in combining manual therapy to relieve pain with progressive exercises to achieve a return to full function. Functional rehab as well as her holistic approach to address lifestyle/external factors is key when treating the underlying causes of dysfunction.With a love for adventure and the great outdoors, Naiha spends much of her spare time trying to keep warm on the running track, at the beach or on hikes, or embracing the winter chill by hitting the ski slopes. She also believes that our mental health is just as important as our physical health and continually applies herself to personal development, meditation and breathwork.

Riley

Riley grew up in regional Victoria where he was heavily involved in a range of sports including cricket, tennis and basketball. This passion for sport and exercise inspired Riley to pursue a career in physiotherapy at La Trobe University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy Practice.Riley has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation and employs a holistic approach to treatment by utilising a combination of education, manual therapy and clinical exercise prescription to help his clients progress through their recovery and return to performance. Additionally, Riley is an accredited strength and conditioning coach and is a strong advocate for the role of strength training in injury prevention and complete recovery.Riley maintains an active lifestyle by frequently training at the gym and heading down to the beach. He also enjoys watching footy, cricket and basketball, and is patiently waiting for the mighty Bombers to return to the AFL finals.Qualifications:
